After being prescribed a home sleep test by NovaSom, the patient will receive a box by mail that includes a bedside console and three small, comfortable sensors, which are easily applied by the patient before going to sleep. These sensors monitor airflow and breathing sounds during the night, as well as the level of oxygen in the patient's blood and the amount of effort made to breathe while sleeping.
Data is stored in a small, portable bedside console. Once the sleep test is completed, the patient returns the bedside unit and other testing materials in a box supplied by NovaSom with postage prepaid.
Our experienced Client Care team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide technical support or answer questions about the set-up or operations of the test.
